Planting Instructions
1. Prepare the soil. Choose soil with good drainage and rich organic matter, ensuring that the soil is soft and well ventilated.
2. Sowing time. Sow in spring or early summer, waiting for the soil to warm up and the temperature to stabilize after the last frost line ends.
3. Sowing method. Spread rose seeds evenly on the soil surface, then gently compact to ensure that the seeds are in contact with the soil.
4. Cover the soil. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and gently press to ensure that the seeds are in contact with the soil.Keep the soil moist after sowing, but not too moist. Especially in the weeks after sowing, keeping the soil moist is crucial for seed germination.
5. Lighting and temperature. Providing sufficient sunlight and a suitable temperature helps the growth of red plum seeds after sowing, keeping the soil warm and providing appropriate sunlight.
6. Daily management. Keep the soil moist but not too wet, and regularly water it to maintain soil moisture. Once the seedlings grow, the frequency of watering can be gradually reduced.
In addition, before sowing, if the outer shell of rose seeds is hard, you can try soaking the seeds in warm water for a period of time to help soften the outer shell. After sowing, it can be covered with plastic film or wheat to moisturize, which can effectively improve germination rate.
